Italy: Eight charged with "supplying prostitutes" to the Berlusconi

Face prosecution in Italy to eight counts of supplying the Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi prostitutes. The accusation came after it was investigated in the southern city of Bari with a number of friends and associates of Berlusconi.
The suspects face charges of supplying young women to Berlusconi and some of his partners from the business in exchange for employment or commercial contracts or services.
Investigators were directed to Berlusconi during the investigation of any charges.
Defense lawyers said Berlusconi that he was not aware of the activities of these persons.
The investigators questioned members of a prostitution network in the city of Bari is suspected that the business was doing Giampaolo Tarantina management.
There Tarantina currently in a Naples prison for his involvement in extortion case after the prosecutor accused him of extorting Berlusconi and get 800 thousand euros for lying to investigators in Bari.
